Our story
Founding
Refreshing Law was founded in 2013 by solicitor Anna Denton-Jones. Her goal was simple: to provide accessible and straightforward legal advice in employment law. Anna quickly gained a reputation for offering practical, effective solutions. As a result, our firm grew steadily while maintaining a personal approach and clear communication. These core values set us apart from others in the industry.


A new chapter
In 2025, we entered an exciting new phase when Lousha Reynolds, an experienced employment law solicitor, acquired the firm. Lousha has a passion for delivering exceptional legal support, has an impressive track record, unrivalled people skills and an ability to quickly understand the needs of her clients. The results are effective, successful working relationships and outcomes. Under her leadership, Refreshing Law continues to live up to its name; offering a truly refreshing approach to client care and employment law advice, whilst remaining dedicated to achieving the best solutions for our clients.

Our expertise
Our experienced and client-centred employment lawyers have a wealth of experience in advising a diverse range of clients, both employers and employees. This advice covers the full spectrum of employment and HR related issues, right through the employment lifecycle, from recruitment to dismissal, and everything in between.
Particular areas of expertise include negotiating exits, advising on redundancies and restructures, drafting contracts and policies, and TUPE and corporate support. We also advise on day-to-day HR topics such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence management.
In addition, the team has a wealth of experience and a proven track record in contentious matters- including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing claims. During the course of Lousha’s career, which spans over 20 years, she has represented both employees and employers at the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal and has never lost a case.
